Flip Cameras
The uses for the flip camera is endless. There are so many examples of ways to use the camera in the class. The camera is easy for students to use and to take with them on field trips or to take home for projects.

There are also some specific examples of how it has been used in the classroom and links to see how it was used in different classrooms. It is publicly accessible to anyone who has an internet connection.
In a poll of 1,277 students between the ages of 9 to 17, 96% use the internet for social networking, 71% use the internet on a weekly basis and 59% spend time on the internet talking about education related topics (Nagel, 2007).
In a poll of 250 school district leaders, 96% of their schools have teachers who make use of the internet as a way to complete the assignments, 35% require the use of the internet, 95% of the schools have teachers who use Web pages to communicate, curriculum content and other information to their students (Nagel, 2007)
